GSLV ISRO chief Shivan has said that the EOS-3 satellite project could not be fully implemented due to a technical glitch in the F-10 rocket cryogenic engine.
ISRO has designed the EOS-3 satellite to monitor natural disasters, agriculture, forestry, mineralogy and disasters. Weighing in at 2,268 kg, the satellite is a GSLV. The countdown to the launch of the F-10 ’rocket began early yesterday morning.
It was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Research Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh at 5.43 am today.
